This Kasper hand puppet is an old find from a Punch & Judy Set. Kasper is the German version of Mr Punch. The unique expression on his carved wooden head is adorable! The painting quality resembles watercolor and is very pleasing to look at. He has a fabric body with tiny wooden hands. This puppet was crafted in Germany circa 1930s and despite the signs of aging acquired over his lifetime, it continues to be a beautiful display piece. It shows age wear with scuffs, paint loss, soiling, repairs, stains and open seams. But his imperfections only add to his character, making this puppet a great addition to any old toy collection.
