They have finely carved wooden heads and are also beautifully hand painted. They have fabric bodies with some lovely small wooden hands and feet. They are German-made circa 1940s. Although they show signs of wear from many years of entertaining, they still display very well. There are tears, open seams, fabric discoloration, soiling, scuffs, paint loss, stains and other imperfections but they are part of their unique character and charm!
