Dating back to the early 20th Century, this Devil Hand Puppet is a beautiful find from a Punch and Judy collection made in Germany. The face is very expressive and is nicely carved and hand painted. It has a vivid fabric body with wooden hands, a foot and a cloven hoof. The puppet is in good condition but shows wear, with scuffs, paint loss, spots, fabric discoloration, small holes etc. But the imperfections seem to give an added layer of personality to the character that displays very well.
