Steiff, the legendary German plush toy company, is famous for its artistry, beauty, and lasting quality. They produced amazing stuffed animals of every type, including super fun hand puppets. And this Fox Terrier named Foxy is even more special because it's complete with all tags and in excellent unused condition. This beloved little character has an endearing expression due to its glass eyes. Foxy was finely handcrafted in Germany between 1959-67 and uses the finest mohair plush. The coloring is still vibrant. It has a hand stitched nose, mouth and claws. Its head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a cardboard finger tube for movement. This charming Terrier puppet can't wait to join your vintage toy collection!
