Similar to other toys of the time, Snobby was finely handcrafted in Germany between 1959-66 using the nicest mohair. The pictures can't capture how lustrous its plush is. Its endearing look, with "humanized" glass eyes, is an indication of a model from the early 0317,00 series. Snobby's head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a cardboard finger tube for movement.
