Steiff has created some of the most adorable dog characters and Snobby Poodle is no exception. When it appears as a hand puppet it is even harder to resist its darling personality. This toy is also very special because it is complete with ALL Steiff IDs and does not seem to be played with. Similar to other toys of the time, Snobby was finely handcrafted in Germany using the nicest mohair plush. This puppet was produced between 1959-66 and its endearing look, with "humanized" glass eyes is really lovable. Snobby's head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a cardboard finger tube for movement.
