They produced incredible stuffed animals of every type, including super fun hand puppets, like this adorable Rabbit! Its glass eyes is an indication of an early toy likely made circa 1950's. Little Bunny was expertly handcrafted in Germany from airbrushed mohair, with hand-stitched nose and mouth. The head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a cardboard finger tube for movement. This toy is well loved and shows age and play wear. There are matted and bald areas, stains on the felt ears and is missing Steiff IDs and silk bow. Old little rabbit can't wait to join your vintage collection!
