Steiff, the legendary German plush toy company, is famous for its artistry, beauty, and lasting quality. They produced incredible stuffed animals of every type, including super fun hand puppets, like this adorable Mimic Dally. Little Dally puppet was made only from 1958-1959, which makes it quite rare! This puppet is complete with ALL IDs and in excellent condition with nice coloring. It appears not to have been used. Just the tip of the chest tag is bent. Dally has expressive glass eyes and an amusing felt tongue. It uses the nicest mohair plush and its head, paws and tail are stuffed with excelsior (wood wool). Different from most puppets developed during the same period, Mimic Dally is full bodied and allows an incredible range of movements.
