Steiff has created some of the most adorable plush toys and Loopy Wolf as a hand puppet is certainly one of them. This toy is very special not only because of its gorgeous appearance but also because it is rarely seen in this nice condition, complete with all IDs. Loopy was finely handcrafted in Germany between 1968-78 using the nicest mohair plush with gorgeous airbrushing accents. It has expressive green eyes and a hand stitched nose. But what makes this character so distinct from other Steiff puppets is its eye-catching open mouth with prominent teeth. Its felt tongue sticking out completes its irresistible vintage look. Loopy's head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a plastic finger tube for movement. Please note a small stain on the back side of the puppet.
