Steiff has created some of the most adorable plush toys and Loopy Wolf as a hand puppet is certainly one of them. This toy was finely handcrafted in Germany between 1968-78 using the nicest mohair plush. It has expressive green eyes and a hand stitched nose. But what makes this character so distinct from other Steiff puppets is its eye-catching open mouth with prominent teeth. Its felt tongue sticking out completes its irresistible vintage look. Loopy's head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a plastic finger tube for movement. This not so bad wolf puppet was gently used and still retains Steiff's trademark "button in ear". Please note that the right eye has a crack line. Loopy can't wait to join your vintage collection!
