Steiff, the legendary German plush toy company, is famous for its artistry, beauty, and lasting quality. They produced incredible stuffed animals of every type, including super fun hand puppets, like this Loopy Wolf. Little bad Wolf was finely handcrafted in Germany using the nicest mohair plush with gorgeous airbrushing accents. Its expressive glass eyes is an indication of an early model made circa 1950-60s. But what makes this character so distinct from other Steiff puppets is its eye-catching open mouth with prominent teeth. Its felt tongue sticking out completes its irresistible vintage "bad" look. Loopy's head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a cardboard finger tube for movement. Its gently used with nice coloring but please note that the tip of one plastic tooth is cut and the only Steiff ID left is the chest tag. Loopy can't wait to join your vintage toy collection!
