Steiff, the legendary German plush toy company, is famous for its artistry, beauty, and lasting quality. They produced amazing stuffed animals of every type, including super fun hand puppets, like this King, as part of the novelty human characters with PVC heads introduced during the 60-80s. This expressive Steiff King hand puppet was produced between 1969-78. Similar to other toys of the time it was finely handcrafted in Germany. It features a synthetic plush beard and a felt costume with a metal crown. His hands and body are felt. The head is made from painted PVC. Little King is gently used but no longer retains its Steiff IDs and the back part of the metal crown is broken. This charming character can't wait to join your toy collection!
