Gaty is a really fun hand puppet and has an incredible stage presence. Its extra long mouth with felt teeth is very eye-catching. It uses high quality mohair plush with some equally remarkable airbrushing work. Its head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a cardboard finger tube for movement. This is an early model handcrafted in Germany circa 1950-60s. Gaty is in good vintage condition but is missing its Steiff IDs.
