Foxy is one of Steiff's most beloved dogs and he is even more charming as a hand puppet! This sweet little character has an endearing expression that is hard not to fall in love with. This puppet was produced between 1968-78 and like other toys of the time it was finely handcrafted in Germany using the finest mohair plush. It has hand-stitched nose, mouth and claws. Foxy has been loved and shows wear. There are some light stains throughout its body. Steiff button and ear tag are present. His head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a plastic finger tube for movement. This charming little Terrier puppet can't wait to join your vintage toy collection!
