Along with the most known bears, cats and dogs, Steiff also developed some other very interesting characters like this Fox hand puppet. And this toy is special not just because its captivating look, with endearing glass eyes, but also due to its short production. Fox was handcrafted in Germany from 1952-63 only, making it an uncommon puppet. The gorgeous airbrushing work gives an amazing distressed appearance to it. Its head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a cardboard finger tube for movement. This puppet has been loved and has lost its IDs, but still is in good condition with no major flaws. No doubt this sweet and uncommon hand puppet will be a great addition to any vintage toy collection!
