Steiff has created some of the most adorable dog characters and Cockie as a hand puppet is certainly one of them. Its endearing look with prominent muzzle and long ears is adorable. And this toy is special also because it's in excellent condition and retains all its IDs. The colors are vibrant and it seems unused! This model was finely handcrafted in Germany between 1968-78 and uses the finest mohair plush. It has stitched nose and claws. Its head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a plastic finger tube for movement. This sweet puppet can't wait to join your vintage toy collection!
