Steiff, the legendary German plush toy company, is famous for its artistry, beauty, and lasting quality. They produced amazing dogs of every breed and Bully the bulldog as a hand puppet is guaranteed fun! And this Bully is even more special because it's complete with all tags and in excellent unused condition. This model was handcrafted in Germany between 1959-63. His expressive large glass eyes and hand-stitched nose with an elaborate velveteen muzzle, give him an unmistakable look that is both grumpy and endearing. Steiff uses the nicest mohair plush and the airbrushing work on this puppet is also remarkable. His head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a cardboard finger tube for movement. No doubt this rare little puppet will be a great addition to your vintage toy collection!
