Here's a nice Collection of Punch and Judy hand puppet toys. The set includes the characters Mr Punch, Judy, Crocodile, Judge and Constable. All wooden heads are finely carved and beautifully hand painted. Their hands and legs are also made of wood and they have lovely fabric bodies. These toys are rare finds from an old hand puppet set. They are from European origin, likely made in Germany in the early 1900s. Their structure is solid and displays well, but they show play wear, gained during many years of entertainment. However their imperfections only give them an added layer of charm and personality. A nice patina of time that only early toys have. This great piece of history will certainly be a special addition to your antique toy collection!
