Here's a handsome Mr. Punch hand puppet, the comic hero of the world-famous Punch and Judy Show! His face expression is very cheerful. Mr. Punch's wooden head is nicely hand carved but was probably repainted at some point along the way, a common practice with old puppets. The hands and legs are also made from wood. The body is made from colorful fabric. This puppet is a rare find made in Germany circa 1930s. He displays well, but also shows play wear, gained during his many years of entertainment.
