Their small size tells that they were designed for children. They have finely carved wooden heads and are also beautifully hand painted. They have colorful fabric bodies with some lovely small wooden hands and legs. They are from German origin, likely made in the early 20th Century. They have solid structure and display very well, but they show play wear, with scuffs, paint loss, soiling and small holes.
