Here's the main characters of the world renown Punch & Judy Show! Mr. Punch with his bad-tempered wife Judy. These are rare finds from an old hand puppet set. They come in unusual large size with finely carved wooden heads. Both puppets are also beautifully hand painted. They have fabric bodies with some lovely small wooden hands and legs. They are from German origin, likely made in the early 1900s. They have solid structure and display very well, but they show play wear, gained during their many years of life. However their imperfections only give them an added layer of charm and personality. This great piece of history will certainly be a special addition to any antique toy or theater collection!
