Here's another great couple of the world renown Punch & Judy Show! The King and the Queen characters. These are attic finds from an old hand puppet toy set. Both puppets have nicely painted carved wooden heads with expressive decal eyes. They have fabric bodies with some lovely small wooden hands and legs. They are from German origin, likely made in the early/mid 1900s. They have solid structure and display very well, but they also show age wear, gained during their many years of life. However their imperfections only give them an added layer of charm and personality. This great piece of history will certainly be a special addition to any antique toy or theater collection!
- Condition: Used and pre-owned puppets. With paint loss, chips and age wear. Please determine the condition by yourself, taking a close look at all pictures and asking questions.
