KERSA Tom Cat Hand Puppet ~ 1970s

Founded in 1925, KERSA is Europe's leading hand puppet maker. Crafting puppets has been a family tradition over four generations and the company is still in production today. KERSA stands for "Kreative Erzeugnisse Realisiert im Spielwaren Atelier", a German phrase that conveys their main vision: to create products in an artistic manner while promoting the children's imagination.

This Tom Cat Hand Puppet is an example of Kersa's amazing craftsmanship and was made in Mindelheim, Germany, circa 1970s. Its sweet expression with hand stitched nose and mouth is adorable. Little cat's body is made of synthetic plush. The head is stuffed with soft material and has a cardboard finger tube for movement. Tom Cat has been gently used but is missing its paper ID tag. Kersa animals are rare and hard to come by, so don't miss this opportunity to welcome this special hand puppet to your vintage toy collection!
