Four generations of the family have proudly cultivated their crafting tradition, and the company continues to produce charming creations today. KERSA stands for "Kreative Erzeugnisse Realisiert im Spielwaren Atelier", a German phrase that expresses their goal to produce artistic products that encourage children's imagination. This Russian hand puppet is an excellent example of KERSA's amazing craftsmanship, made in Mindelheim, Germany circa 1960s. His eye-catching expression with a mustache, beaded eyes and stitched features is lovely. He wears a traditional hat and red costume. This puppet has been gently used and is in good condition still with tag attached. The head is filled with soft material and has a cardboard finger tube for movement.
