KAMAR Tiger Hand Puppet ~ 1960s

Best known for the stuffed toy version of E.T. released in the early '80s and for the creation of the 1963 JFK doll, Pascal Kamar and her wife Astrid were the creative minds behind one of the most prolific toy companies in America. Kamar crafted an array of stuffed animals and hand puppets, often manufactured abroad. This Tiger Hand Puppet is one of their creations from the 60s. It is made from floppy art silk plush with nice airbrushing details. It has glass eyes and stitched nose and mouth. It retains a sewn cloth tag reading "made in Japan". Its appearance attests to being enjoyed, yet it maintains a great deal of vintage charm. Little striped Tiger hand puppet can't wait to join your toy collection!
