Here's a very old Court Judge hand puppet from the world renown Punch and Judy Puppet Show! Judge's wooden head is nicely carved and beautifully hand painted. The expression on his face with a painted reading glass is remarkable. His tiny hands are also finely crafted from wood. This puppet is a rarity made in Germany circa late 19th Century. It shows wear with scuffs, paint loss, spots, small chips, discoloration, holes, open seams and other age and use marks. Also note that the wooden legs were lost to time. Don't let the opportunity of bringing such special piece of history pass!
