Else Hecht Princess Hand Puppet ~ 1960s Rare!

Else Hecht was born in 1888 in Munich. She was a craftswoman, puppeteer and came from a family of artists. Her puppets and dolls are rare and highly sought after. Here's one of her wonderful creations depicting a Princess with the nicest expression. This puppet has a pressed felt face with button eyes and delicate painted features. Her body is made of felt and her garment is adorned with some lovely details. She wears a metal crown and even a ring! Similar to other Else Hecht toys of the early-mid 1900s, this puppet was finely handcrafted in Germany using the best available materials. The attention to detail and craftsmanship are remarkable.
