DAKIN Lady Elaine Fairchilde Hand Puppet ~ 1990

This Lady Elaine Fairchilde hand puppet was made by DAKIN in 1990 and is a recreation of the original character from the PBS program hosted by Fred Rogers, Children's Corner. Mister Rogers created the Museum-Go-Round where she lives. She is the eccentric character of the troupe and often the one who stands up to King Friday XIII’s unreasonable demands. Its believed that Lady Elaine was named after Fred’s sister “Lainey.” This puppet has a plastic head and a body made from synthetic fabric. Her eye-catching expression with pointy nose is adorable. She is small and stands approximately 10'' (25cm) tall. She has been used and shows some age wear. Welcome home a vintage puppet character from the Mr. Rogers world!
