This Daniel the Tiger hand puppet was made by DAKIN in 1988 and is a recreation of the original character from the PBS program hosted by Fred Rogers, Children's Corner. The beloved and shy Stripped Tiger was named after WQED Station Manager Dorothy Daniel that gifted Fred Rogers with a tiger plush hand puppet in 1954. This puppet is crafted from a very soft synthetic plush and wears a wristwatch. His sweet expression with endearing red nose, plastic eyes and nylon whiskers is adorable. He stands approximately 10.5'' (27cm) tall. This puppet has been gently used and is well preserved with nice coloring. Welcome home this special vintage find and bring to life one of Mr. Rogers most beloved puppet characters!
