Dating back to the early 20th Century, this Constable Hand Puppet is a beautiful find from a Punch and Judy collection made in Germany. The face is very expressive and is nicely carved and hand painted. It has a fabric body with wooden hands and feet. The puppet shows wear, with scuffs, paint loss, fabric discoloration, holes, old repairs etc. But the imperfections add a very nice patina and personality to this character.
