This Constable hand puppet is an old find from a small Punch & Judy Set designed for children. His unique expression in a carved and hand painted wooden head is adorable! He has a fabric body with tiny wooden hands and legs. This puppet was crafted in Germany circa 1930s and despite the signs of aging acquired over his lifetime, it continues to be a beautiful display piece. It shows wear with scuffs, paint chips, stains and discoloration. But his imperfections only add to his character, making this puppet a great addition to any old toy collection.
