Here's a beautiful set of BRACK Hand Puppets made in Schönfeld near Stuttgart, Germany, circa 1950s. The set includes the traditional characters Hansel, Gretel and the Witch. They have the most captivating expression and have meticulously carved and hand painted heads. The costumes are very detailed and beautifully tailored. These are very well made hand puppets that remind the work of master carver Herbert Bross, that also created fascinating puppets around the same time period. Both Hansel and Gretel retain the BRACK paper tag, the Witch is missing it. This set is in very good vintage condition and seems unused. But it shows age related wear, with scuffs, paint loss, small stains, open seams and other minor issues. Either if you are a puppeteer or a vintage puppet fan, don't miss the opportunity of adding this beautiful puppet set to your collection!
