BERG is an Austrian manufacturer established in the mid 40s. They created lovely stuffed animals and hand puppets with the slogan "Animals with Heart" and a distinctive red heart shaped chest pendant. Here's an example of a rare Fox Terrier Hand Puppet from the early times of the company. Similar to other creations of the 1950s, this puppet was finely handcrafted in Austria using the best materials. He has a very sweet expression with endearing glass eyes, stitched nose, felt paws and mohair body. His head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a cardboard finger tube for movement. Little puppy has been loved and shows wear with blad spots and stains in some areas but still retains the original tiny ear label. Welcome this toy to your vintage collection today!
