Steiff produced some incredible animal creatures and among them is this Teddy Bear hand puppet, nicely crafted in Austria between 1979-85. Teddy stands out for his charming personality. Like other toys of the time, this puppet uses the nicest materials and is made from synthetic woven fur and trevira velvet. Its head is stuffed with soft material and has a plastic finger tube for movement. Steiff's trademark button in ear and yellow flag #6461/27 are present but the chest tag is missing.
