Here's a charming antique Mr Punch hand puppet, the comic hero of the world renown Punch and Judy Show! This puppet was designed for children and is nicely hand carved with little wooden hands and legs. He is also beautifully hand painted. He has a fabric body and expressive decal eyes. He is from German origin, likely made in the early/mid 1900s. His structure is solid and displays well but he shows play wear, gained during his many years of life. However his imperfections give him an added layer of personality that only early toys have. This great piece of history will certainly be a special addition to your old toy collection!
