This Judge hand puppet comes from an old Punch & Judy Set made in Germany. Dating back to the 1920s, this one of a kind piece has a very expressive wooden head, carved and hand painted. His unique expression has an adorable folk art quality. He's dressed in a home-made colorful costume with a fabric cape. His legs and hands are hand carved and painted. This puppet shows signs of age acquired over its many decades of life. It shows paint loss, stains, discoloration, small repairs etc. Nevertheless, the imperfections only add to its character, making this puppet a great addition to any vintage puppet lover.
