KERSA Blue Character Hand Puppet ~ 1980s Rare!

Founded in 1925, KERSA is Europe's leading hand puppet maker. Crafting puppets has been a family tradition over four generations and the company is still in production today. KERSA stands for "Kreative Erzeugnisse Realisiert im Spielwaren Atelier", a German phrase that conveys their main vision: to create products in an artistic manner while promoting the children's imagination.

This Blue Character Hand Puppet is an example of Kersa's amazing craftsmanship and was made in Mindelheim, Germany, circa 1970-80s. This must be a rare puppet because I've never seen it before. Its funny expression, with comic eyes, pony tale hair and a snap style mouth, is very eye-catching. It wears a colorful fabric dress and has detailed felt hands. The head is hollow to allow mouth movement. This puppet is in good condition still with Kersa paper tag. Little blue character can't wait to join your vintage toy collection!!
