Delightful Set of 5 small Turkish Shadow Puppets.
From the traditional KARAGOZ Puppet Theater.
Named after its primary character, Karagöz ("Black Eye” in Turkish).
Beautifully hand painted leather figures.
Amazing colours when placed against light.
Jointed parts allowing different poses.
Unsure about age. Likely to be from the 70's.
Range approx. from  5'' to 6'' (12.5 to 15 cm) high.
Great for display or to put up a small Puppet Show.
A fantastic puppet ensemble with lovely patina!
