Steiff, the legendary German plush toy company, is famous for its artistry, beauty and lasting quality. They produced incredible stuffed animals of every type, including super fun hand puppets. And this Cockie Puppy is even more special because it's in excellent condition retaining all its IDs with crisp tags. The airbrushing details are vivid and the puppet appears not to have been used. As other vintage Steiff toys it was expertly handmade in Germany between 1959-67. It uses the finest mohair plush and its endearing look, with glass eyes, prominent muzzle and long ears, is adorable. Its head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a cardboard finger tube for movement. Sweet Cocker Spaniel can't wait to join your vintage toy collection!
