This King and Queen hand puppet couple is an old find from a Punch & Judy Set. Their unique expression with carved wooden heads is adorable! The painting quality resembles watercolor and is very pleasing to look at. They have a fabric body with tiny wooden hands. They were crafted in Germany circa 1930s and despite the signs of aging acquired over their lifetime, they continue to be a beautiful display piece. They show age wear with scuffs, paint loss, soiling, repairs, stains and open seams. But their imperfections only add to their character, making this puppet couple a great addition to any old toy collection.
