Here's a very old Constable hand puppet head from the world renown Punch and Judy Puppet Show! This piece is beautifully carved and hand painted. It could have been retouched/repainted over the years, a practice not uncommon on early pieces like this one. But whatever happened to this head, it only made it look more expressive and full of life. This puppet head is a rarity made in Germany circa late 19th Century. It shows wear with scuffs, paint loss, spots, discoloration and other age and use marks. Don't let the opportunity of bringing such special piece of history pass!
