Here's a handsome Policeman hand puppet from an old Punch and Judy set designed for children. It has a finely carved wooden head, beautifully hand painted with expressive decal eyes applied to it. The body is made from fabric with lovely small wooden hands and legs. This puppet is from German origin, made circa early 20th Century. It has been gently used and displays very well. Despite its many years of life, the coloring is still vivid. No major issues noted aside from small scuffs, paint loss and small holes. This great piece of history will certainly be a special addition to your vintage toy collection!
