Founded in 1925, KERSA is one of Europe's most known hand puppet makers. Their brand name stands for "Kreative Erzeugnisse Realisiert im Spielwaren Atelier", a German phrase that expresses their goal to produce artistic products that encourage children's imagination. This Judy hand puppet is an excellent example of KERSA's amazing craftsmanship, made in Mindelheim, Germany circa 1960s. Her eye-catching expression with glass googly eyes and stitched features is lovely. She wears a fabric outfit with a bonnet and an apron. This puppet has been used and is missing the spoon and Kersa's tag. Also note a small hole in one of the felt hands. The head is filled with soft material and has a cardboard finger tube for movement. Little Judy hand puppet can't wait to join your vintage toy collection!
