This Gentleman hand puppet is a relic from the world-renowned Punch & Judy Show. His carved and hand painted wooden head is very expressive. He has a fabric body with small detailed wooden hands and feet. It was crafted in Germany circa early 1900s or even late 1800s. Its small size is an indication that it was designed for children. Despite the signs of aging acquired over its lifetime, this puppet is a lovely display piece. Its charm-filled imperfections only add to its character, making it a great addition to any antique toy or theater collection.
