Steiff, the legendary German plush toy company, is famous for its artistry, beauty, and lasting quality. They produced incredible stuffed animals of every type, including super fun hand puppets, like this adorable Gora Gorilla, handcrafted in Germany between 1961-64. This puppet uses dralon plush, a novelty material of the time. Gora has been loved and shows some wear. It has lost all its Steiff IDs and has a light stain on the front part of its body. Despite its imperfections, its endearing look with googly eyes and sweet smile is adorable! Its head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a plastic finger tube for movement.
