Here's a charming DEVIL hand puppet made in Germany. This character is only found in early Punch & Judy sets, so he was likely made circa 1930s. The small size is an indication that it was designed for children. The head is nicely hand carved but was probably repainted at some point along the way, a common practice with old puppets. He has a simple fabric body with fabric hands. This nice piece of history displays well and will certainly be a special addition to your vintage collection!
