The Crocodile is one of the most iconic characters in a traditional Punch and Judy puppet show. Although it fits an adult hand, the small size gives away that this piece was part of a set designed for children. Crafted in Germany around the early/mid 1900s, it has a nicely hand painted wooden head finished with a fabric body. Its mouth has a handle stick that helps to manipulate the jaw. This eye-catching Crocodile may have a few imperfections from its long life, but these simply add to its charm, making it an amazing addition to any old toy collection!
