Here's an adorable Monkey hand puppet skillfully handcrafted in Germany by Hermann Teddy Original, a well-known European toy company. The expressive glass eyes on this puppet is an indication of an old toy, likely made in the 1950s. The colors are nice and its expression is really lovely! Monkey still retains Hermann's trademark metal pendant but it has been used and there are bald mohair spots. Its head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a cardboard finger tube for head movement. This funky little character can't wait to swing to your vintage toy collection!
