Here's a handsome Kasper hand puppet, the German version of the comic hero Mr. Punch. Kasper's wooden head is finely carved and beautifully hand painted. His face expression with a pointy nose is just amazing! His hands and legs are also made of wood and hand painted. The body is made from flannel fabric with some lovely lace details. This puppet is a rare find from an old hand puppet set made in Germany circa early 1900s. Kasper shows lots of wear, gained during his many years of entertainment, but his structure is solid and he displays well. The soiling, scuffs, paint loss and other imperfections only give an added layer of charm and personality to this puppet.
