Like all Steiff creations, this adorable vintage Rabbit hand puppet is to fall in love with. Its endearing expression, with glass eyes, is an indication of an early series model, likely made in the 60s. Little Bunny uses the finest mohair plush and was expertly handcrafted in Germany. The airbrushing work, with dark and golden hues, is gorgeous. Rabbit's nose and mouth are hand-stitched and the ears are lined with felt. Its head is stuffed with excelsior (wood wool) and has a cardboard finger tube for movement. This sweet little puppet seems gently used and still retains the button, with faded ear tag. The bow is worn. Bunny can't wait to join your vintage toy collection!
